Thin double-sided adhesive tapes and adhesive films
Double-sided tape is a carrier and glue on both sides. 3M double-sided adhesive tape is an excellent choice because it is reliable and resistant to both low and high temperatures. 3M double-sided tape can have different dimensions, thicknesses and densities, thanks to which it can be effectively matched to our individual needs. The wide range of products also includes a thin 3M double-sided tape (e.g. 3M 9088-200), ideal wherever a thin adhesive layer is required, but also a strong connection resistant to plasticizers. The adhesive film consists solely of adhesive. It does not have a carrier. It can be in the form of tapes, the ATG system or in the form of sheets. The 3M adhesive film was created for bonding low-energy materials. Its main advantage is resistance. We are talking about both UV radiation, solvents and high temperature. Its advantage is also the thickness, which can be really very small, e.g. 0.05mm, and at the same time the connection strength is very high. The bonding strength of a 12mm wide adhesive film can be equal to that of a 50mm wide double sided adhesive tape.

This group includes double-sided foam tapes that ensure effective connection of elements with an uneven surface, eliminating unevenness. They are well suited for indoor applications. What distinguishes VHB is its design. 3M VHB is a 100% foamed modified acrylic, which is perfect for gluing various materials: glass, metals, plastics, wood or varnished elements. Its unique properties also include the ability to absorb energy and vibrations. Its properties give the possibility of structural connections and some types are suitable for the powder coating process, such as the 3M GPH series, resistant up to 240°C.
